Concert halls of the Netherlands
More than 130 musicians will perform a classical work of orchestral and choral music of the twentieth century by composer Karl Orff in an exclusive concert series that resounded at various venues in the Netherlands. The National Chapel DUMKA and the Academic Symphony Orchestra "INSO-Lviv" will perform Orff's masterpiece under the direction of Raymond Jansen.
"In 2019, this series of concerts sold out and broke all records. The performance of the musical masterpiece Carmina Burana aroused great public interest. Listeners rated these concerts at 9.2 points. Therefore, a repeat of this series in 2021 was inevitable," – said the World Concerts.
The concert program will consist of two branches. The first will feature works by J. Bizet, C. Saint-Saens, J. Massenet, A. Dvorak, M. Skoryk, M. Lysenko, and A. Khachaturian. And the second will be dedicated, in fact, "Carmina Burani" by Karl Orff.
